Do you get nervous when you have to give a presentation in front of a class or for an organization you are involved in? Have you had the opportunity to present at a conference and wondered how others perceived you? Even the thought of this makes many people quite anxious. Yet, oral presentation skills will likely be required of you as you are on your professional career path. You may need to think about how to engage a particular audience or how to articulate your research or points in a way that is meaningful to your audience. To get or maintain a position, you may have to carefully promote yourself or market a product. As such, having oral presentation skills could be important to your professional development in a variety of ways. So, how are your skills?
